Our mission is to generate technical and conceptual tools to create a more sustainable production model, and to collaborate in the UPC’s endeavour to provide scientific and technical support for social, cultural and economic progress.

CIM DO AVE - Comunidade Intermunicipal do Ave

The Intermunicipal Community of Ave is a Public association aiming the common interests of its eight municipalities, by promoting and managing the economic, social and environmental strategy of the territory; coordinating inter municipal investments; participating in management of support regional development; promoting cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation; and Planning the public entities activities with a intermunicipal approach.


The Cartagena City Council is a local public administration, with a total population of 214.802 inhabitants in 2019 spread over a municipal area of ​​558.08 km². This municipality has numerous rural nuclei distributed in its territory.

Furthermore, our administration is responsible for making and promoting the efficient use of energy and water.

MPdL – Município da Póvoa de Lanhoso

The Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso is a Local Authority in the district of Braga, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 21,886, in an area of 134.65 km². The Syndicat mixte Est Creuse, strong arm of municipalities in the East of the Creuse department (France) for territorial development, supports the energy transition. It offers continuous engineering for energy transition projects in rural areas, within the scope of a “100% RES territory” strategy.
