Consideration of energy consumption is not enough when considering the efficiency of a building which is why ADENE developed a methodology to consider the energy-water nexus, or how water consumption also influences energy consumptions.
This document shares the main methodological principles of the energy-water audit methodology. It aims at offering the reader an overview of what this auditing approach focuses on, the parameters considered and requirements to apply the methodology on your own local public buildings. This document only provides a general overview and the full methodology (see the document on the Results page) should be considered before implementation. While the methodology is only available in English for now, you can look at the core principles in English, Spanish, Portuguese or French.
