One of the key piece of the COLEOPTER approach relies on the use of 3D BIM modeling. To ensure the creation of these 3D models of each pilot building, an initial task must be carried out directly in the field. This is a building scale scanner to record all the details of the building’s shape that will be integrated into the BIM modeling process.
CETENMA inaugurated this work on the pilot project in Cartagena. Scans on other pilot buildings will follow.
