ADENE’s team worked on the publication of scientific papers focusing on the energy-water auditing methodology developed within the COLEOPTER project.
As of December 2020, two publications have been submitted:
- “Integrative energy-water audits in public buildings” was submitted and accepted to the 3rd Water Energy Nexus Conference that took place online at the end of 2020. The paper was selected for an oral presentation as well, realized by an expert from ADENE.
- “Bridging the water-energy nexus in public administration building auditing approaches” was submitted to the Word Water Congress and Exhibition in the Spring 2020 and selected for a poster and oral presentation in May 2021
The puplications highlight the necessity to take into account not only energy but also water efficiency when looking at improving buildings’ efficiency. This innovative perspective was reinforced by the first methodological inputs developed by ADENE within the COLEOPTER project to define an energy-water audit methodology that will be applied to the demonstrator buildings of the project.
